Frank Gruber publie sur le très populaire blog de technologie Techcrunch un banc-test de 9 lecteurs de RSS en ligne :
- Attensa,
- Bloglines,
- FeedLounge,
- Google Reader,
- Gritwire News Alloy,
- NewsGator on line,
- Pluck Web Edition,
- et Rojo .
Il les a classés selon quatre critères :
- la richesse de l'interface,
- la facilité et la rapidité d'installation/lecture des flux RSS,
- le support client,
- l'accès aux flux RSS depuis un appareil mobile (PDA, Smartphone, etc).
Etaient exclus de ce test des lecteurs RSS populaires tels que Yahoo Rss Reader ou Netvibes, car ils ne sont pas (selon l'auteur) adaptés à la lecture d'un grand nombre de flux, pour un usage professionnel, par exemple. Et le gagnant est …Google Reader et FeedLounge, ex-aequo. Ils se sont révélés les plus rapides. Néanmoins, ce sont Bloglines et Rojo qui proposent le plus d'options à leurs abonnés. Frank Gruber, lui, persiste à préférer les logiciels lecteurs de RSS installés sur l'ordinateur tels que Netnewswire et Feeddemon, qu'il recommande pour une utilisation « industrielle» des flux RSS.

Outre l'aspect comparatif qu'offre cette grille, je pense que les différents critères énumérés par F. Gruber devraient guider les futures évolutions de MyLaMoooche...
